USA - San Jose with Toddlers

As our journey in San Jose takes us to several places for toddlers and mums, here are few of them that we loved and enjoyed visiting the most!

  • This hands-on discovery museum features over 28,000 square feet of interactive exhibits where kids and engage their senses and learn as they play. 
  • Kids can blow giant soap bubbles, learn how to tend a garden, make a pizza, and discover how fun physics can be! 
  • Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose, CA is one of more than 15,400 museums in the Museums USA directory. 
  • Place for kids of all ages to explore many things.
   2. Happy Hollow Park and Zoo

  • Happy Hollow Park and Zoo was built in the 1950s to satisfy the public’s thirst for Disney-like theme parks. Today, that park still attracts flocks of visitors, young and old, with exotic animals, rides, playgrounds, and a puppet theatre. 
  • Happy Hollows harks back to bygone era of theme parks, and is sure to delight your little ones. 
  • The petting zoo got the be the high light of her whole experience here.
  • Check their website as they usually have a day a month (or maybe every two months) where their admission is really cheap.
  • We rated it 5 star because for the PRICE it is definitively worth a visit!

3. The Jungle

    • We rated it 5 star because for the PRICE it is definitively worth a visit!
    • They not only have tons of token games for entertainment, but they also have numerous small coin rides for children and a large jungle gym type structure as well. 
    • Kids love to pass through the tunnel and jump around
    • Here is so much to do and climb on that you get tired before you get bored. 
    • This is a great place to come and let the kids burn some energy
    • Great Value for money
    • The pizza and cake were pretty good, too.




    4. Color me Mine

      • We rated it 5 star because for the PRICE it is definitively worth a visit!
      • My daughter and I have been here a few times since last summer.   It's a great activity to do when you want some quiet time and are feeling creative.   
      • It's a really nicely set up place with lots of ceramic statuettes, boxes, etc. for both kids and adults alike to paint.
      • It's clean, orderly, and there are color charts for the paints/glazes.
      • The prices were decent, too. ($15 for a tile, $5 for preschool painting fee) We will definitely be back! 
      • A nice change from a lot of the other indoor venues.  
      • At Color Me Mine, the kids are all in one room and have to talk to one another and be social!
      • The staffs were really helpful :)

      5. Japanese Friendship Garden

      • Located in Kelley Park , this garden is modeled after Korakuen Park in Okayama, Japan.
      • Just the right kind of place where u can have a peace of mind. 
      • The landscaping is beautiful. 
      I hope everyone that goes to the garden will have fun and enjoy the peaceful environment.  
      More local things to do such as Jungle, Color me Mine, Gym, Ballet, Petting zoo & Farmers Market.
